CONTROLLED ROLLING
TECHNOLOGY:
Properties of the rolled plate depend to a
considerable degree on the rolling
temperatures and rolling directions. By
varying the rolling conditions, plates
obtain different properties, even though
they are produced from slabs with
identical analysis.
VARIABLE THICKNESS:
Plates with variable thickness in the rolling
direction can be supplied, which is
particularly advantageous for the
fabrication of steel bridges.
